The Institute is for the first time organizing a large, systematic collection of data on concert halls and venues on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
This pioneering project will map the number and technical capabilities of concert venues and halls in Serbia in order to create a professional network and launch joint initiatives. Based on the processed data, Zaprokul will create the first modern database that will be publicly available to the interested public.
The focus of this important task is the promotion of professional exchange and the creation of new professional opportunities for collaboration between artists and promoters. In this way, decentralization in the field of music will be achieved and repertoire and genre diversity will be maintained in the production of musical content, but it will also encourage significant audience development.
The project is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.
