The Archaeological e-Landscape of the Danube

The Center is a partner in the project of the European Union “The Archaeological e-Landscape of the Danube” co-financed by the Danube Transnational Programme (INTERREG), for the promotion of the economic, social and territorial cohesion in the Danube region. The goal of the project is to make archaeological heritage, especially that of Podunavlje District, more visible and appealing on the regional, national, and international level, using exceptional innovative digital technology.

There are 23 partner organizations from 10 countries participating in the implementation of the project, and the project coordinator is the Universalmuseum Joanneum from Graz (Austria). Besides the Center, another project partner from Serbia is the City Museum of Vršac.
